Join Mount Sinai Innovation Partners (MSIP) in May 2020 for the Pitch Challenge and hear teams present their technology-based ideas as innovative products with commercial potential to a panel of experts.
Meet the Teams:
| Team Name | Technology Type | Description |
| Mindful Care Training | Application/Software | Targeted decision support tool to aid practitioners to care for vulnerable patients. |
| Prediction Cancer Risk Software | Application/Software | A tool using a multimodal approach to predict cancers in patients. |
| MRI Imaging Enhancement Device | Device | A device to improve image quality and sensitivity while using MRI. |
| CHILL | Device | A catheter system to provide localized therapeutic hypothermia |
| MatrixMed | Therapeutic | A medicated oil to improve oxygenation and promote a clean wound environment. |
| Pharmaceutical Treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease | Therapeutic | Novel drugs that inhibit microglial activity. |
These MSIP-vetted teams have advanced their ideas by:
- participating in MSIP’s Entrepreneurship Primer Series (see image below)
- earning internal or external funding to further validate their ideas and continue R&D on their prototypes
- completing innovation programs such as the Mount Sinai Health Hackathon, Poster Presentation Competition, ELabNYC Accelerator, or NYC Media Lab’s Combine
