Startup Primer and Workshop

Join MSIP as we explore the opportunities available through the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) Innovation-Corps (I-Corps) programs. Participants will explore the basic structure and requirements of these programs, and work through a short workshop to learn how to conduct proper customer discovery and validation studies.
Dov Shamir, PhD, Manager of Education & Entrepreneurship at Mount Sinai Innovation Partners will lead this interactive session that will discuss:

- NYC Regional Innovation Node Criteria and Programming
- Basic business and lean startup principals
