Meet the winners of the Mount Sinai Pitch Challenge 2023! The exciting virtual event featured five teams from Mount Sinai who presented healthcare solutions that address unmet needs to a panel of investment experts.
First place and winner of the $25,000 grand prize: EndoCare
Developing a clinical decision support system designed to facilitate detection of early-stage endometriosis to improve patient outcomes and promote healthcare equity.
Second place and winner of the $10,000 prize: SpineSight
Reducing time-to-treatment for spinal cord disease patients by using AI to analyze imaging and clinical symptoms to quantify disease progression.
Participating teams:
- Virtual Reality (VR) Self-Hypnosis: using VR hypnosis to treat chronic pain, starting with HIV patients
- CordGuard: developing a medical device designed to mitigate spinal cord compression following cervical laminectomy procedures
- APMV’s Cancer Virotherapy: developing an off-the-shelf solution at the tumor site, allowing the patient’s immune system to create its own vaccine against tumor neoantigens
