Harlem Biospace(Hb) is a biotech incubator for New York City offering affordable shared wet-lab space for early-stage biotech companies. We have built a centrally located lab outfitted with modern biotech equipment, host unique classes and events, and provide business support – creating a community to turn ideas into inventions that solve real health problems.
The inaugural cohort of companies consists of eighteen early stage biotech ventures emerging from the academic centers of New York City. They are a diverse group of scientists, physicians, and data scientists pursuing products ranging from therapeutics to medical devices and imaging techniques.
We are seeking an individual who can serve as a roving consultant throughout the summer to the community of companies here and contribute to both the technical design of their products and the creation of their business strategy. Depending on experience and/or particular interest the associate may also choose to focus on working with a particular company for the summer.
Beyond work with the companies – a Harlem Biospace associate will be given opportunities to participate in all seminars and selected meetings of the Hb director to help guide growth of the incubator and meet with influential members of the NYC and global biotechnology ecosystem.
